How to use ePrescriptions?
- Visit your GP - if you require a prescription at your GP appointment, ask the GP for an ePrescription.
Receive your token - sent directly to your phone or email.
Show or send your token to Palmwoods Pharmacy - we'll dispense your medication.
Receive a new token for repeats - if your prescription comes with repeats a new token will be sent directly to you via SMS or email.
You can manually manage each token this way - or take it one step further with Active Script List (ASL). CLICK HERE to find out more.
ePrescriptions are the digital version of traditional paper prescriptions. When your doctor writes a prescription, instead of handing you a paper copy, they send you a token - via SMS or email - straight to your smartphone or computer.
This token contains everything your pharmacist needs to dispense your medication.

What are Electronic Prescriptions (ePrescriptions)?
Step 1: Ask us to register your for ASL
Simply ask any of our team at Palmwoods Pharmacy to register you for ASL. All you will need is your photo ID and we'll set up your Active Script List on the spot.
Step 2: Download the MedAdvisor App
Available for FREE on iPhone and Android. Once registered, your prescriptions appear automatically in the app.
Step 3: Order Anytime, Anywhere
With ASL and the MedAdvisor App, you can:
- View all of your prescriptions
- Reorder medications
- Pay in advance
- Arrange home delivery (if required).
